Dignity at Work
Staff motivation can be fostered by promoting dignity in the workplace - a culture of respect between colleagues and attention to the everyday concerns that can cause anxiety at work.
Stress management
Black & Banton can help review your existing stress management procedures or develop them anew. Our approach is informed by the knowledge that unmanaged employee stress (whether originating in the workplace or not) can lead to lengthy sickness absence and must therefore be anticipated and dealt with proactively.
We encourage line managers to conduct stress risk audits and equip you with the tools, such as questionnaires, case-studies and empathy scenarios, to develop confidence in dealing with the difficulties arising from employee stress.
Counselling
Some cases of stress and anxiety cannot be handled by line managers alone. Bereavement and post-traumatic stress are examples of employee stress that require specialist intervention. Black & Banton's expert counselling staff have experience in helping workers to process their problems while emphasising the very real benefits of remaining in (or returning to) the supportive community of the workplace.
Dispute resolution and mediation
Occasionally, interpersonal problems at work can lead to sickness absence, anxiety and an atmosphere unconducive to work. Black & Banton's experienced mediators can be deployed to minimise the disruption and manage a resolution between the involved parties, with both empathy and objectivity.
Campaigns against bullying and harrassment
Black & Banton's bullying and harrassment identification and prevention strategies can be tailored to your company's requirements.
